I Don't Do Glue

The much-anticipated 3rd grade diorama project guidelines came home yesterday.

Anyone want to put money on how much I get involved with this baby?

Hint...here's Jack's  project so far:

It's a White Tailed Deer, though I understand how you might have actually missed that fact seeing it doesn't really have a white tail.

  1. I like how the white tailed deer's head is white...such an ironic animal...oh wait, is he headless with a white tail? Very deep and thought provoking!

    1. Jack is practically the Picasso of the diorama.

  2. What would have been REALLY funny is if he had done the dead deer next to the car thing and his teacher called you in because she was 'concerned' and you had to pretend to be all shocked that he would do such a thing.

My mom never, ever helped me with any of my school projects and I done gradjiated, so doncha worry!

And, finally, I had to start a new blog :( Here's the link if you want to pop over: WritesyDaisy.com

  3. LOL, I thought the deer was a monkey when I looked at it first. Obviously I didn't help my kids on their school projects :)

    Sounds like a fun project!

  4. As a retired teacher I reflect that some of the work we used to assign was ridiculous. Yet, the project-oriented students can surely benefit.

Love the title "I don't do glue". Hmm, I could add the usual "I don't do windows", and might add "I don't do Christmas cards" if I get up the nerve.

  5. I loved your idea and I bet the teacher would have, too. Maybe secretly, but loved it nonetheless.
I loved making dioramas, and was always a little ummm...over enthused when the boys had to make them. They may have run me off with scissors.

  6. The link isn't working. :( I don't know if it's me, the link, or the website. I have a copy of Epic Mom now. I feel a little guilty about how I came to acquire a copy. I'll be posting about it soon. :P
